GRF Accomplishments

Director - Vice President (current), Secretary (2022)

• Annually worked to keep GRF operating costs within budget. 

• Kept increases to the GRF portion of the coupon low. In 2024, GRF's portion rose 1.45%, a $4.77 increase per manor.

Planning Committee: Chair.  In conjunction with staff and committee members

• • Refined the structure and operation of the nascent Planning Committee to enhance committee review and analysis of capital projects.

  • Oversaw the creation and continuation of the Facilities Master Plan to approve and track capital projects, resulting in enhanced 5+ year budget projections.

  • Contracted with a food/beverage consultant to analyze and enhance food options in Rossmoor.

  • Annually analyzed and approved the GRF Capital Budget prior to full GRF Board approval.

Insurance Task Force: Committee member

• • Lobbied local, State, and Federal representatives regarding rising home insurance costs.

Civility Task Force: Co-founder and committee member

• • Researched behaviors surrounding and possibly caused by pandemic stress.

  • Raised awareness of the benefits of civil community discourse.
